Just look at your wonderful Daddy. You aren’t able to realize it yet, but I bet you will someday: he is the most amazing Dad ever. Do you know how lucky you are to have two parents who love you so completely, and who would do anything for you? One day you might wonder if your Dad ever fed you bottles or changed your diapers or sung you funny songs or gave you kisses. Well, for the first 3 weeks of your life he did everything except breastfeed you. And I am sure if he had the ability to, he would have done that, too.
You have brought so much joy to your Daddy and to me. Even when life has got us down, all we have to do is look over at you and your silly little grin and all the troubles of the world melt away. We cannot imagine our universe without you, and honestly are not sure what it was that we did with our time before you arrived. We might see a lot more of 4 am than we’d ever like to these days, but if the reason for it is you, that’s the best reason there is.
