This is one of the few semi-recent pictures I have of me and your Aunt Amy. She’s coming into town this weekend to meet you for the first time and to attend your mun yut. What’s a mun yut? A party! For you! It’s to celebrate your first month of life and to introduce you to everyone. And a Chinese name will be chosen for you. But really, what is it? Oh, a bunch of people are going to ooh and ahh over you while stuffing their faces with dim sum. Sounds like a good time to me!
