You know I’d do anything for you, right? Anything.
Breastfeeding has been less than fun for us so far. Today, for example, my nipple is bleeding.
It’s been 7 weeks of struggling with this and I’m not completely ready to give up yet, though I have come close several times. No one tells you how hard it’s going to be, or how much it’s going to hurt.
Yes, I would do anything for you. And in order for me to be the best Mommy I can be I need to be happy, too. So if things don’t work themselves out I think I’m going to have to call it quits soon. I hope you understand if this happens. It’s not that I don’t love you enough to work through the pain. I love you so much and I want to enjoy these weeks and months. I don’t want anything to get in the way of that.
