One Week

Dear Daniel Ziggy Chin,

It’s been a week since you arrived and you change a little bit each day. Everyone keeps telling us how beautiful you are and that you look like both of us. You have my lips and chin. You have your daddy’s cheeks and eyebrows. You have a combo of our noses and eyes. We cannot stop taking pictures of you. We are going to have to buy a new hard drive just for your photographs.

Your arrival was a little more dramatic than I would have liked, but I will save your birth story for another time. All I know is I’m so glad you’re here. I’m so glad you’re healthy. I am so incredibly glad you’re all ours.

    Congratulations on the arrival of this bundle of beauty and joy. He’s beautiful, really beautiful and I really cannot believe how much he’s grown and changed in one week. I was moved to tears when I saw these photos.
