34 weeks

Dear Ziggy,

Woah. Look at you! This is from last week when I was 34 weeks pregnant and by now, I’m even bigger.

It has gotten to the point where I actually need to hang on to you when I turn over in bed so you don’t flop too hard to the side! You are a big boy already!

I am starting to have dreams about your birth which is exciting and scary at the same time. The other day we took a tour of the maternity ward at the hospital. We got to gaze at the fresh new babies in the nursery and it choked up both me and your daddy to think you will be a fresh new baby in that nursery very soon.

I am forever looking forward now, and I want to fast forward through the birth and have you home already! I’m pretty impatient, huh? Well, I’m not the only one. Daddy can’t wait for you to get here either. Just last night he made peanut butter and jelly on toast and looked at me and said “someday I’m gonna make this for our little boy” and he had a little tear in his eye.

We have so many plans for you and we are getting mushier by the minute. Please don’t be too late.
